Begin worship planning for this year with provocative ideas for an uncertain world.

A Lilly Grant has allowed me to spend the last couple of months researching the metamorphosis happening in churches just like yours as we take seriously the changes in our culture and rhythms, and the challenges we are facing. 

What I have studied has given me great hope because there are ways in which our churches are uniquely poised to help create powerful connections in our communities. 

I’m using the term "metamorphosis" because I really think we can embrace this as a time of transformation, accelerated by this historic and difficult time. And I’m excited to share with you about what possible forms worship could take and what themes can accompany us in this important time of re-evaluating and reconstituting the future of the church.
